Tech Entrepreneurs partner with Upraised to upskill the youth of India

Upraised, an ed-tech start-up focused on upskilling students as well professionals, has collaborated with India’s influential tech entrepreneurs to create awareness about skilling for students in today’s highly competitive environment.
Upraised had recently announced the launch of ‘Embark Internship Programme 2021’ with a primary goal to help college students land internships at high growth companies. Upraised along with industry experts and influencers such as Vijay Shekhar Sharma (Founder & CEO, Paytm), Tanmay Bhat (Comedian, YouTuber & Investor), Ankur Warikoo (Founder, Nearbuy.com), to name a few, will be sponsoring the upskilling and placement of 150 interns each i.e. a total of 300 interns. Over the next few weeks, these influencers will be engaging with their followers and creating awareness about how students can benefit from Embark to land their dream internship.
In addition to 6-weeks immersive learning experience, Embark offers a plethora of exciting benefits for students:
● Guaranteed Internship across 5 different career tracks at well-funded fast-growing companies.
● Best-in-class Stipend ranging from INR 15,000 to INR 70,000
● Land a full-time job offer by performing during internship (PPO)
● Be part of an exclusive club with some of the finest brains chosen from 6000+ colleges
● Mentorship from Industry Leaders who will share their experiences and guide students on how to think about starting your career in the right way.
Talking about the strategy behind this move, Mona Gandhi, Founder – Upraised said: “It is very encouraging to see tech leaders coming together to help skill the young talent of India. If done right, internships can help more students from tier 2 and 3 cities to participate in the tech gold rush we are witnessing right now, and it can widen the pool of qualified talent that companies can hire from. It’s a win-win for everyone. Given how inspiring these leaders are to the youth of India, we are hopeful to create awareness about Embark and its benefits, to as many students as possible. We are confident to bridge the industry-academia gap, so that students are not worried about getting the right opportunities in today’s competitive business environment.”
Vijay Shekhar Sharma, Founder and CEO, Paytm said, “India has a large pool of youngsters that need training to build great careers. Excited to support Upraised as they skill students and get them internships at startups. I encourage students to participate in Embark and get the best internships in India.”
