Veteran physician with 40+ years of experience joins to strengthen management of complex and chronic medical conditions, with expertise spanning diabetes, metabolic diseases, preventive cardiology and infectious diseases
Ghaziabad, September 18, 2026: Yashoda Medicity, Indirapuram, Ghaziabad, has appointed Prof. (Dr.) N.K. Soni as Director, Internal Medicine, strengthening its clinical leadership in the management of complex, chronic, and multi-system medical conditions. With more than four decades of experience in Internal Medicine, Prof. (Dr.) Soni brings extensive clinical and leadership experience across diabetes and metabolic disorders, preventive cardiology, thyroid disorders, infectious diseases, tuberculosis, rheumatology and other chronic conditions.
Prof. (Dr.) Soni’s experience spans comprehensive adult medicine, diabetology, preventive care and complex medical conditions. Before joining Yashoda Medicity, he served as Senior Consultant and Head, Internal Medicine & Diabetology at Yatharth Super Speciality Hospital, Greater Noida, and held senior roles at Yashoda Hospital and Heart Institute, Santosh Hospital and Medical College, and Sitaram Jaipuria Medical Centre, Ghaziabad. He has also served as President of IACM and U.P. Diabetic Association, Chairman of the RSSDI U.P. Chapter and member of the API Governing Body, with expertise across diabetes, metabolic diseases, preventive cardiology, thyroid disorders, infectious diseases, tuberculosis and rheumatology.
Commenting on the appointment, Prof. (Dr.) N.K. Prof. (Dr.) Soni holds an MBBS and MD in Internal Medicine from Agra University and fellowships from the Indian College of Physicians, Indian Academy of Clinical Medicine, American College of Physicians and Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, Glasgow. He is also associated with Diabetes India, the Indian Society of Hypertension and the U.P. Diabetic Association. His
appointment further strengthens Yashoda Medicity’s clinical leadership in Internal Medicine and its multidisciplinary approach to complex and chronic care in the Delhi-NCR region.
