Google Cloud has roped in Amit Zavery, ex VP, Oracle Cloud Platform to manage one of its engineering teams. Prior to this Thomas Kurian, President, Oracle joined Google Cloud as Chief Executive Officer. Zaveri started his stint with Google Cloud on Monday as Google Cloud vice president of engineering and will spearhead the Apigee team.
Zavery brings with him 24 years of work experience with Oracle. He incepted his career as a software engineer and was handling a portfolio of application development tools for customers of cloud computing.

Zavery will facilitate Google add to its tools platform, which in turn will enable enterprises to develop applications for their clients and workforce.
Last month Kurian said that Google Cloud would focus on garnering business from the largest corporations in the world, operating in limited industry segments by providing them with specialised services.
