ELCINA’s legacy of honoring trailblazers in the industry, from corporate giants like Tata to inspirational figures like the Mittals and TCS’s Kohli, is truly extraordinary. The ELCINA awards have been a symbol of recognition and prestige and we at CP Plus are thrilled to be part of this group of awardees.
ELCINA awards are not given lightly; they are the result of a rigorous evaluation process. A distinguished panel of jurists scrutinizes every aspect of business excellence, both within our factories and in our overall operations. As CP Plus, we began installing surveillance cameras in homes in 2005–before they were considered essential household items. We saw that people’s security was important, so we made it our mission to protect what mattered most to them.
Our quest for innovation led to the development of firmware that set new industry standards in 2011. We wanted to ensure not only the software but also the hardware was under our control to guarantee top-notch security. In 2017, we established our first factory, capable of producing one million cameras each month.
As demand for surveillance technology grew, especially in response to changing geopolitical dynamics and government projects, we decided to expand our production capabilities further. We launched a new state-of-the-art factory with the capacity to manufacture 3 million cameras annually. Our ambition doesn’t stop here; we have set our sights on producing 6 million cameras by 2025-26, a testament to our commitment to meeting the nation’s needs.
Aligning with the ‘Make in India’ vision, we’ve strived to indigenize our operations, reducing dependence on external sources. Amidst shifting geopolitical landscapes, we relocated the chip manufacturing ecosystem from neighboring countries to the United States and India. This bold step ensures that our products are created with the highest level of integrity and security, upholding the ‘Atma Nirbhar Bharat’ philosophy.
Our upcoming product series, ‘Vidhu,’ meaning ‘Vishnu’s Eyes’ in Hindi, signifies our unwavering commitment to this vision. In just a few months, we’ll be launching Vidhu, a line of products entirely developed, from research and design to manufacturing, within India and with materials sourced from the United States.
Our motto has evolved from “uparwala sab dekhta hai” to “uparwala hi dekhta hai,” reflecting our dedication to creating the most secure products possible. The goal is simple: offer our nation complete security with no room for tampering or external control.
Aditya Infotech Limited, operating under the brand CP Plus, has seamlessly transitioned from an industrial name to a household one, making its way into homes not just in Tier-1 cities but also to the heart of rural India. Even a local shopkeeper in a remote village now proudly showcases CP Plus cameras alongside groceries, a testament to our growing presence.
Recognizing the potential to enhance entrepreneurship and installation quality in these areas, we initiated the ‘Mission Tech’ program, in collaboration with Skill India. Under this initiative, Skill India provides certification to rural installers who are trained by our experts. Annually, we conduct over 1,000 to 1,500 programs across India’s remotest areas, equipping local entrepreneurs with the skills to install and maintain our products.
Today, the reach of CP Plus extends from the bustling urban centers to the farthest reaches of rural India. The awareness of the importance of surveillance has increased significantly, and rural individuals are now able to earn their livelihoods without migrating to larger cities, thanks to their certified skills and our Mission Tech Program.
