Shopisthan India Private Limited, launched its first-ever product known as Shopisthan Business on the 10th of December 2021 to digitize 10K+ Indian sellers and was already able to register 150 online stores on its launching day.

Shopisthan India Private Limited is a Punebased startup, founded on 7th January 2021 by Mr. Sameer Gaffar Qureshi (CEO & founder at Shopisthan India) with an aim to make Atma Nirbhar Bharat by providing Indian Sellers their own online Store.

Mr. S.G.Qureshi says, “We believe that technology is for everyone and not only for those who have learnt it.”

Mr. S.G.Qureshi had got the Idea in February 2020 while he was dealing with various clients for making their ecommerce, but unfortunately the clients owning the businesses were not able to start their own ecommerce due to high cost of development, hosting, marketing and maintenance. So Mr. S. Qureshi took a step forward and created a platform for those sellers not just to start online business, but also made it as easy to use.

As the new normal has changed the normal way of living, commerce has also changed its shape from offline to online. Looking at the COVID-19 situation, it was a matter of concern for every small and medium business owner that how they can survive during similar situations where physical shops are closed for a certain period of time. So many small retail and home manufacturing business owners have closed their businesses during the time due to heavy losses. Some of the sellers tried to sell their products on social channels like Facebook, Instagram, Whatsapp and other platforms as well. By understanding the need of the hour, with a vision of providing every Indian seller, their own ecommerce, Shopisthan India has launched their platform Shopisthan Business.

Shopisthan Business is the platform for serving micro, small, medium enterprise (MSME) owners aiming to minimize the manual work of the seller. It provides an online storefront to the store owners through which they can showcase their products to the consumers. It also facilitates the store owners with a dashboard which they can manage on their own without any technical background. The platform makes the commerce easy for the sellers by taking care of hosting, development, deployment and maintenance of the stores. It enables reliable and easy steps to create their online stores and store owners can keep track of their number of products, total sales, number of orders and their customers from the store dashboard. They can easily add catalog the products to their store and manage their stocks through the in-stock and out-of-stock functionality only through a button click. Vendors can also give the discount to the buyers through the platform. Shopisthan Business enables Indian local sellers to run their offline businesses online. In near future the platform will be able to provide some advanced features which leads the sellers to experience an automated commerce.
