Founded in 2024 by Dhananjay Yadav and Aryan Yadav, the company launched Neo 1 in March 2025: India’s first AI-native wearable designed to act as your “second brain”. The device captures and processes conversations, context, and actions in real time, providing instant recall and contextual understanding across 100+ languages — from Kannada to Mandarin.
Unlike today’s screen-based AI that demands constant attention or task-specific copilots bound to single applications, Neo 1 fades into the background. No typing. No screen-checking. No breaking flow. Just seamless intelligence that expands human capability rather than adding cognitive burden.
Technology is what matters. At Neo 1’s core is a proprietary AI engine trained across Indian and international languages, built to understand context and nuance across cultures. This multilingual capability positions NeoSapien to serve diverse global markets while maintaining deep roots in India’s linguistic landscape.
NeoSapien’s approach is privacy-first: your data is yours. In an industry where personal information often becomes currency, this commitment to user
ownership sets the company apart and forms the foundation of how the platform is built.
Hardware is the starting point, not the endgame. NeoSapien’s ambition extends beyond the device to building platform infrastructure that could power the next generation of ambient AI experiences globally. The company is creating the intelligence layer for a new computing paradigm — one where AI builds persistent memory, reasons over time, and proactively surfaces insights without demanding constant interaction.
Dhananjay brings 14 years of experience scaling tech products across India, the US, and EMEA. Aryan, an IIT Madras alumnus, combines expertise in AI and hardware engineering. Together, they’ve built a sound consumer hardware product from India in remarkably short time and attracted backing from investors including Merak Ventures, Awais Ahmed (Founder, Pixxel Space), Aprameya Radhakrishna (Founder, Koo), Anupam Mittal (Shaadi.com) Namita Thapar (Emcure Pharmaceuticals), Sameer Mehta (Co-Founder, boAt), amongst others.
Born in India, built for the world, NeoSapien is demonstrating that Indian
companies can compete in defining global technology categories — starting with hardware that works, then scaling to platform infrastructure that matters.
