Nihilent acquires Mumbai-based Intellect Bizware

Nihilent and Intellect Bizware signing MoU

Solutions integration company Nihilent Technologies has acquired majority stake in Intellect Bizware, a Mumbai-based specialist SAP consulting and services company, for an undisclosed amount.

With this acquisition, Nihilent aims to consolidate its capabilities in ERP consulting & implementation, business process optimization and software product development.

The latest development results in Nihilent acquiring second company within a span of one year following its acquisition of US-based BI and analytics solution provider GNET in October last year.

“Nihilent will now have increased width and depth in its offerings in the global ICT market, including digital transformation, natural language processing, mobility solutions, analytics and BI, and enterprise applications,” the company said in its statement.
Nihilent claims Intellect to be one the largest domestic SAP practices in India with over 200 expert resources. Intellect’s portfolio includes SAP solutions and proprietary mobile enterprise apps and web portals.

LC Singh, vice chairman and CEO, Nihilent, said, “Nihilent is poised to emerge as a stronger comprehensive player in the overall enterprise space. The Intellect acquisition will not only help us in enhancing our value proposition to our existing customers, but will also enable to build up our readiness in serving domestic customers. We look forward to leveraging Intellect’s strengths in the areas of SAP consulting, implementation and support.”

“In this era of digital marketing and sales coupled with the Internet of Things and SMAC, ERP systems have increasing role among enterprises more than ever. The Intellect acquisition is certainly a big fillip to our business,” Minoo Dastur, president and COO, added.
