SHB has re-imagined "Banking on the move" with Wearable Banking Solution developed by Vayana

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia leading bank, Saudi Hollandi Bank (SHB) has deployed Wearable Banking Solution developed by Vayana for Apple Watch, to further enhance the customer experience for its retail banking customers. This will see the bank introduce more innovative ways to engage with its retail customers in KSA.

Wearable Banking Solution developed by Vayana will enable SHB to deliver number of services on Apple Watch which works as an extension of the iOS – Mobile Banking Application. These services include Reporting (Balances & Mini Statements), Notifications and Payments (Due Bills & Violations). Wearable Banking adds another feather to the cap for both SHB as well as Vayana.

While mentioning about the deal, Vayana’s CEO Kannan Ramasamy mentioned “Exciting opportunities have been presented by emerging technologies and form factors. This haKannan Ramasamy- CEO Vayanas made it possible for us to “Reimagine Channels” in partnership with our clients. We have had a unique opportunity to work with Saudi Hollandi Bank in their journey to create an OmniChannel experience. The Wearable Banking is another milestone in positioning the Bank as an innovator.”

SHB and Vayana have been working together last few years to digitize Retail Banking Channels. SHB is currently using Vayana’s “SolutionNET: Channel Re-imagined platform” for Retail Internet Banking, Tablet Banking Application and Mobile Banking Application. SHB has won Best Mobile App Award in 2016 and Best Internet Banking Award for consecutive 2 years (2014 and 2015). With 72 retail banking services on Mobile Banking Application, SHB is undoubtedly a leader in KSA Market.
