VTDS Signs Strategic Technology Partnership with DEUS Automation

·       The agreement will enable the company to acquire manufacturing technology for small-calibre ammunition as part of efforts to strengthen indigenous defence production. 

·       The collaboration is aimed at strengthening long-term defence manufacturing cooperation between the 2 countries, aligning with the centres Atmanirbhar Bharat & Make in India initiatives.

New Delhi, August 2026: Vijayan Trishul Defence Solutions (VTDS) has signed a strategic technology partnership with Czech Republic-based DEUS Automation, a sister company of the STV Group, to acquire manufacturing technology for small-calibre ammunition in India.

Under the agreement, DEUS Automation will provide advanced manufacturing technology for the production of small-calibre ammunition in India, enabling VTDS to establish manufacturing capabilities based on international quality benchmarks, precision engineering standards, and modern production systems.

The collaboration is among the first major technology-transfer partnerships between India and the Czech Republic in the small-calibre ammunition segment. It is aimed at strengthening long-term defence manufacturing cooperation between the two countries, aligning with the centre’s Atmanirbhar Bharat and Make in India initiatives.
